I am a native South Carolinian and most of the time I’m embarrassed to say that I am. It’s boring, backwards, has poor education, stuck in the Civil War, the whole state goes bonkers over a rooster and a tiger, the job market has ALWAYS sucked for minorities, and racism is a hot mess. I’ve traveled since childhood along the east coast and I’m watching the economy very closely gauging when and where I can relocate hopefully this year, but I’ll wait until next year if need be.
