You may have already seen the video about texting while driving as it was an issue in another bulletin. But, if you have not, go to You Tube and type in “texting while driving Great Britain.” It is a Public Service Announcement that should really put the fear in you about using cell phones while driving. While you’re at it, send the video to your safety department and suggest the video be shown during training sessions…it is that good or bad, however you want to rate it. Be prepared, it is graphic.

Whenever I get behind someone who is driving erratically or consistently speeding up and slowing down, 9 times out of 10 I see that they are on their cell phone. Hands-free phones should be the law in every state — hopefully in Florida soon.

I manage a fleet of drivers, and they are all told no phones behind the wheel. Getting caught talking or texting while driving is grounds for termination.

You have got to be kidding me???!!! First of the law in NY prohibits talking without a “Hands-Free” device and then he was TEXTING??!! Some people think they can multitask.. Well had he killed someone he’d have multitasked himself right into jail!

These kinds of people need to be taken off the road before they get someone killed. It’s a wonder no one was killed in this instance.
