The time has come to rid yourself of all the tedious paperwork and materials you need to teach employees about their flexible spending account (FSA) options.
Open enrollment season is just around the corner — and you know what that means: Time to figure out a way to get employees to take advantage of some of the great voluntary benefits your company offers.
Well here’s one resource you can direct employees to that’ll help them understand the advantages of FSA accounts: www.SaveSmartSpendHealthy.com
The website is the brainchild of WageWorks, Inc., a large independent provider of consumer-directed benefits programs.
It was created to be the focal point of WageWorks’ Save Smart, Spend Healthy campaign, which features advice from personal finance expert Manisha Thakor and explains how employees can save up to 40% on qualified medical expenses when they use an FSA.
The website is totally free and would make a great addition to any benefits pros employee education strategy.
What’s on the site?
- A brief intro to FSAs and how they work
- An easy-to-navigate comprehensive list of eligible expenses
- Success stories from real people who’ve saved money using an FSA, and
- An FSA savings calculator.
The best part: There’s no need to provide any personal info (e-mail, phone number, etc.) to access the resources. And there’s almost no mention of WageWorks and the services it provides.
Check out the site, and let us know what you think of it in the Comments Box below.
