Adding to your good opinions I have to propose a clear point: Are women not already suffering in our western world? Still there is no similar situation for men and women in all respects. The problems are in the center of the activities of the public administration, the multinational organizations such as WHO, UNICEF, and the population. All health programs, which were begun in the last ten to fifteen years, to have its goal however does not reach. So a good thing you speak about the problem. But will it eventually change? We can only leave our hopes for the moment, as long as male behaviour like war lords are more important than female attitudes like charm

We have a small office of about 10 people. My situation is that my boss, the owner of the company is the worst person when it comes to managing people. The next person in line as a manager, would be one of the nicest people, who is very hard to understand and doesn't like confrontation. This person however, has a way of making himself everyone's manager. Thus, most of the people he managers, are very unhappy and tend to come to me with their complaints. The other person that would make a good, manager, and has worked for the company for a very long time, refuses to manage other people under her and would rather be their friend. Wierd.

In my working experience as an administrative support professional, I have encountered men and women who are self proclaimed "managers" who have an obvious tendency to make themselves feel better about their positions (as pseudo middle managers) by treating fellow employees in a condescending and demeaning manner. Some of these people might have bought a level of higher education (or had someone buy it for them) and, thereby feel entitled to treat others as subordinate positions. This type of "wanna-be" manager would seem to define the term 'manager' as one who works whatever hours are convenient for him/her. Their work schedules are flexible because they have had success with delegating tasks they feel they are "above" doing or require too much of their time. When, in fact, they have created too much idle time for themselves. This type of "manager" promotes an atmosphere of animosity in the workplace.
I feel strongly that self-serving control freaks should not be tolerated or celebrated with salary raises or promotions. Companies that retain such individuals tend to have higher employee turnover rates, and, probably will not be able to hold on to loyal employees.
