Don't give the IRS any ideas! Soon they will start requiring companies to monitor personal time on computers and land lines as part of their benefits packages and tax us for that too. After a while, we wont be able to get any actual work done because we will be conducting 24 hour surveillance on employees so that we can take their entire checks and send them to the government.

I truly don't understand why they are so focused on cell phones? They don't require the same thing for my desk phone?

How many times has my husband or I answered an email or call on personal time and not submitted it for paid time? In the grand scheme of things, it all works out. If someone abuses their work cell phone, let the employer sort it out. It's crazy!
