The company where I work pays the employees $1,000.00 if they quit smoking or chewing for one year. If the employee wants to continue on - they owe the company $1,000.00 Since I started working here in 2000, we have reimbursed at least 15 people. Some of them have gone on to other jobs, but in my department, there are still 4 of us happy to be free of this devise! Personally, I was sick of how much money the government was getting for my habit. I now take home part of their pay and I invested my $1,000.00 in gold 6 years ago.
