The Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)

Your best answer is on this web site. Your job sounds like a regular employee at the same time if you make decisions the category changes. Is better to get your answer with the Dept of Labor.

Good luck. (keep up the good work) :)

I am the Data Processing Manager for a Fortune 500 company. That title doesn't really define what I do. I am more the IT Manager......if IT is broken, whether it be a printer, computer, scanner, network issue, telephone problem or anything that sounds technical....I will fix IT. I am also salary, I do not supervise anyone, I am the only one in my department, and lately I have been averaging 30 hours overtime per week, on salary. I do not have any formal training in the computer field only "hands on" on the job experience. I perform my duties based on my experience and make decisions as to the repair/installation/purchase of any equipment. I report to he division manager in my company. Am I entitled to overtime?
