Don't let the bedbugs bite — you might get sued

Think you’ve seen it all when it comes to employee complaints? Here’s one we’re guessing you haven’t heard.
A Fox News employee claims she suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Why? Because she was bitten by bedbugs at work. She’s now suing the owner of the building, and filing a workers’ comp claim against the employer.
She says she was bitten three times and then complained to HR.
The suit doesn’t mention how HR reacted to the complaint. Since no other employees had any problems, our guess is they looked into it and didn’t see a problem.
As for the connection between the bugs and PTSD, it seems unlikely since the disorder’s usually associated with combat experience and other serious events.
