From the “no-good-deed-goes-unpunished department” comes this story from overseas. The woman was just trying to help her customers.
Alma Floyd is a shopkeeper at a dairy store in Cheddar, England (no, we didn’t make that up).
When police started cracking down on illegally parked cars outside her shop, she started warning people who parked illegally to moo-ve their cars.
That really got police officers’ goat when they herd about it.
They really had a beef with her.
Police said, in her effort to milk passing motorists who were no longer stopping at her shop because of fewer parking spaces, Floyd was interfering with officers in the line of duty.
Now, Floyd faces arrest if she continues to get in officers’ whey.
