Just hand in your resignation, put in the rest of your time and walk out with your head held high … that’s how most people quit their jobs. But apparently Samantha Lockhart’s not most people.
The 25-year-old former clerk at the Summit County Fiscal Office in Arkon, OH, put in her resignation, and then she returned to glitter bomb her former supervisor’s office.

Lockhart was arrested and eventually given a suspended nine-month jail sentence. She was also placed on probation for 18 months.
She was charged with covering her former supervisor’s cubicle, desk, equipment and other belongings with glitter, silly string, powder and toilet paper.
Prosecutors for the fiscal office say Lockhart’s actions destroyed personal items belonging to the supervisor and ruined a computer, scanner, printer and keyboard.
In lieu of serving the jail time, Lockhart must comply with the terms of her probation, complete 50 hours of community service and write an apology letter.
Following her sentencing, Lockhart told the Akron Beacon Journal she wasn’t guilty of all the things she was accused of, but she didn’t elaborate further.
Meanwhile, one of the prosecutors said Lockhart showed “no sense of remorse.”
Well, at least she’s got the head held high part down.
