Andrew Malahowski, JD
Area Senior Vice President, Compliance Counsel Gallagher
Andrew Malahowski joined Gallagher’s Dallas, Texas office in 2014. Andrew was previously a partner with an employment and benefits law firm in Chicago, Illinois, where he represented both public and private sector employers in a broad range of employee benefits matters. His counseling experience includes the design and administration of employee benefit plans, and he has counseled clients with respect to compliance obligations under ERISA, PPACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and various other employee benefits laws and regulations. As Compliance Counsel, he assists the many offices of Gallagher’s Heartland and South Central Regions with both day-to-day and strategic compliance questions related to health and welfare plans. He has also assisted clients with benefit plan audits and filings with the IRS and DOL. Andrew’s additional depth of experience from his prior law practice allows him to strategize with clients on other angles affecting their employee benefit plans, such as collective bargaining, worker classification, and the management of employee leaves of absence.
Kim Mitchell, JD
Division Vice President, Compliance Counsel Gallagher
Kim Mitchell is Division Vice President, Compliance Counsel for Gallagher’s Benefits & HR Consulting division. Kim has more than 15 years experience practicing business, executive compensation, employee benefit and healthcare law. Kim serves as a resource for consultants and clients on regulatory and legal issues relating to employee benefits. As a member of the National Compliance Team for Gallagher’s Benefits & HR consulting division, she writes articles and develops resources to educate clients and consultants on a wide variety of health and welfare issues.
Sally Wineman, JD
Area Senior Vice President, Compliance Counsel Gallagher
Sally Wineman is Area Senior Vice President, Compliance Counsel, of the Legislative Compliance Practice within Gallagher’s Benefits and HR Consulting division. She specializes in developing effective strategies for organizational compliance with rules and regulations affecting employer health and welfare benefit plans, and helps develop strategy for Gallagher’s compliance practice. With more than 25 years of experience in employee benefits, Sally works with clients and consultants throughout seven Western states. She focuses on integrated risk management to support overall organizational health. By leveraging the Gallagher Better WorksSM approach, Sally helps clients develop a people strategy that not only results in full compliance with laws and regulations, but delivers better work and a healthier workforce. Prior to joining Gallagher, Sally worked in private legal practice.
