A Florida man decided to skip the usual HR hiring process and become a public transit bus driver.
Miami-Dade police have arrested James Harris and charged him with stealing at least three county buses and driving them on their routes.
Harris picked up and dropped off passengers on the routes on at least three occasions, according to police. They say he didn’t raise any suspicions because he dressed in a bus driver’s uniform.
Police say at the end of each day, Harris returned the bus he was driving.
Authorities are investigating whether Harris had help from transit employees when he stole the buses.
