Got morale and productivity issues? Here’s your answer: Workplace nudity.
Hey, it’s not our idea — it’s the premise of a new British TV series, “The Naked Office.”
Here’s the concept: A person described as a “behavioral change specialist and leadership guru” consults with a troubled company on various personnel and performance problems. Each episode covers a work week — and ends up on Naked Friday, where everybody in the company strips down to their birthday suits — to increase “trust levels.”
Trust is key, according to change specialist/guru Seven Suphi. She’s quoted as saying: “For most people, going to work in the nude is a very daunting prospect, and I believe this extreme process will help them push their boundaries and become a close team that trusts each other enough to get naked together.”
Uh, yeah.
So. Think such an approach would work at your organization?
