HR at this company might want to recommend some anger management instruction for this employee.
Why? Because there’s nothing wrong with blowing off a little steam when you’re frustrated at work — as long as it isn’t directed toward a potential customer.
Randall Whited recently hung up on a telemarketer. But that wasn’t the last time he heard from the sales rep.
The telemarketer called the Austin, TX, resident back and let Whited have it.
“That was just such a girl thing to do. Wimp,” the telemarketer allegedly said in the second phone call.
So far Whited hasn’t had any luck getting a response from the caller’s supervisors, according to WIS-TV.
Whited is pursuing the situation. He says the state attorney general’s office told him the company may have violated Federal Trade Commission regulations.
