Vivian Kessler

President, Search Innovations

Vivian Kessler founded Search Innovations in 1995. She leads the overall execution of the firm’s searches, from inception to close. Her expertise in executive searches was first cultivated during her tenure as a vice president at a retained boutique search firm, The Beam Group, in Philadelphia. Prior to joining Beam, Vivian was an attorney representing corporations in mergers and acquisitions. She is active in local politics and is an amateur watercolorist.

“The most effective recruiting happens when the individual who is being recruited, and the executives who are on the interview team, are being made aware of what is important to those individuals, and matching their cultures to the candidates being interviewed. … I mean everything from understanding that they’re moving their family across the country, or that they have ties to the area, or just little things like that all the way to what is motivating the person.”
