As an HR manager, you may have had people give notice at your company so they could go off on their own and pursue their dreams.
Often, these employees seek to combine their interests or hobbies with self-employment.
Victor Thompson of Laconia, NH, is charging $200 per square inch for companies to advertise their products and services with tattoos on his skin.
“It’s a one-time fee and it’s a lifetime advertisement,” Thompson told the Boston Herald.
Thompson, a former restaurant employee, created www.tattMEtoo.com with his business partner, Josh Youssef.
What happens when Thompson runs out of viewable space on his body? Thompson and Youssef are looking for other human billboards. As their Web site says, “Sell Your Body.”
Thompson received media coverage previously when he announced his plan to tattoo his head to resemble the helmets worn by the New England Patriots, his favorite football team.
“Tattoos are my life,” said Thompson who is trying to fulfill the dream of combining a favorite hobby with work.
