A runaway Bosnian bank teller has been arrested on charges of stealing 1.1 million euros ($1.68 million) from bank depositors.
She was turned in – by her husband.
Sanja Meseledzija-Gvozdjar left on vacation from her job at a bank in the Bosnia capital last September – and never came back. (Bells go off in bank manager’s head.)
Police arrested her in Belgrade after the tip from her husband, according to wire service reports.
The husband must’ve been really disgusted with his wife. Not only did he reveal her Belgrade hideout to police, but he filed for divorce and changed his name – after he spent all the stolen money (OK, we’re just kidding about the last part).
