Vice President, Enrollment Strategy and Solutions, Colonial Life
Kaleb Unverfehrt is the Vice President of Enrollment Strategy and Solutions for Colonial Life. He oversees client enrollment positioning and fulfillment across both the Unum and Colonial Life brands. His team focuses on ensuring that the right processes, tools and talent are aligned to deliver quality benefits education and engagement experiences to workers via the nearly 50,000 enrollment events Colonial Life supports annually. Outside of work, Unverfehrt serves on the Board of Directors at Transitions, a non-profit focused on ending homelessness in South Carolina. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in international business from the University of South Carolina.
Bethany Ferguson
Vice President of the Field & Client Development Organization, Colonial Life
Bethany Ferguson is the Vice President of the Field & Client Development organization at Colonial Life. She leads national recruiting for the sales organization, field onboarding, training and development, inforce client growth and lead generation teams. Bethany has been with Colonial Life for nearly 11 years, contributing her expertise in various capacities including claims, client management, persistency and retention, territory growth and development and client-level underwriting. She holds a bachelor’s degree in sports management from the University of South Carolina and an MBA from The Citadel. Outside of her professional roles, Bethany is a dedicated mom to two wonderful girls. She is also actively involved in her community as a member of the Leadership Columbia Chamber of Commerce program and serves as a Board Member for Growing Homes Southeast.
Michael Anza
Vice President of Sales for the Northeast Region, Colonial Life
Michael has more than 20 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry. He has been with Colonial Life for more than a decade, serving in a variety of sales and leadership roles. In 2015, shortly after joining Colonial Life as a sales manager, Michael was promoted to Territory Sales Manager for the NY Metro/Long Island territory. In this role, he led the territory to significant success, growing both the direct and broker markets in the territory. Recognized for this success, Michael was then promoted to Senior Territory Sales Manager, which expanded the scope of his leadership to the upstate NY and northern New England territories. In January 2022, Michael was promoted to Vice President of Sales, leading the Northeast region. Throughout his career, Michael has been nationally recognized for his leadership and sales accomplishments. Michael is a graduate of Gardner-Webb University and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in business/managerial economics. He currently resides in New Jersey.
