Addressing Wellness: Supporting the Well-Being of Health Care Workers
Helping others is a virtuous vocation, but sadly, not all who dedicate their lives to it receive that same attention in return.
Across their industry, health care employees experience stress, burnout, and other factors leading to poor wellness and higher turnover. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, health care occupations are projected to grow 16% from 2020 to 2030, adding about 2.6 million new jobs. As the number of health care employees grows, the need for quality wellness programs expands.
In this webinar, Tanner Bergman, Paycom’s supervisor of well-being advisement programs, joins us to cover ways to address the wellness needs of employees in the health care industry.
We’ll discuss:
- What kinds of employee benefits help support wellness
- How to re-engage a disengaged workforce
- The necessary role leadership plays in promoting wellness
- Ways to build a healthy wellness program to reduce burnout and increase retention
