Putting the Human Back in HR: How to Create a Positive Offboarding Experience
Turn former employees into advocates – not antagonists
If you had a magic wand, every ex-employee leaving your company would go on to become an advocate – one who sends referrals your way, speaks positively about the company online and even leaves open the chance of rejoining you down the road.
Unfortunately, the reality is some separations lead to employees who actively can sink your recruiting efforts, damage your reputation and be a lasting thorne in your side.
What can you do to create more advocates and fewer antagonists among former employees – regardless of the circumstances surrounding their separation?
Join us for a free webinar to discover how small changes in your organization’s separation process can lead to surprising – and positive – results with soon-to-be ex-employees.
In this webinar, you will learn:
- One of the most important – and underutilized – tools you have at your disposal to leave a favorable last impression.
- Why now’s the perfect time for an offboarding reset – for those who act
- What you can do to make the offboarding process a positive experience – that pays dividends down the road
- New ways to take automatic offboarding back to its human roots
- A simple strategy ten of thousands of companies are using to get former employees to boast about their employee experience – long after they’ve left the building

Though she now realizes she won’t die speaking in public, to the media, or on camera, she still hates parties and crowds – but loves shoes and espresso. Later this year, she hopes to get back to road tripping, heading to Disney World, visiting a local coffee
