Lia Gass Rodriguez, MD, FAAP, Chief Medical Officer, ActiveHealth Management, Inc.
Dr. Lia Rodriguez is a board-certified pediatrician with extensive experience in community healthcare, clinical quality and managed care. She is passionate about improving the lives of children and their families. She currently serves as Chief Medical Officer for ActiveHealth. Dr. Rodriguez joined CVSHealth in May 2020, initially as Medical Director for Aetna Better Health of Florida and then as Senior Medical Director of Clinical Quality for Medical Affairs/Aetna.
She previously led the clinical oversight and operations of the utilization management department for Texas Children’s Health Plan, a provider-led Medicaid/CHIP managed care organization. She also previously served as the medical director of pediatrics for Legacy Community Health, one of the largest Federally Qualified Healthcare Centers in Texas.
Dr. Rodriguez received her Bachelor of Science in biology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and later completed medical school at the University of Miami. She completed her residency training in pediatrics at Jackson Memorial Hospital. She lives in Houston, Texas, with her family.
Scott D. Sobocinski, Pharm.D., Executive Director, Clinical Analytics, ActiveHealth Management
Scott Sobocinski is a Pharm.D. with residency training in critical care from Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. In his current role, he serves as an executive director responsible for digital and business management of clinical analytic products powered by ActiveHealth’s CareEngine analytics platform.
Scott has over 15 years of industry experience designing and developing analytics for population health clinical solutions used by health plans and employers to reduce medical costs and improve the quality of care for their members.
