Russell Cloughen is a Senior Account Executive on the Betterment at Work 401(k) team. He works closely with small to medium-sized businesses that aim to ramp up their retirement benefits. He takes special care to ensure that our potential clients are educated on our products and services while guiding them through making these important decisions. Before joining Betterment in 2022, Russell spent the last ten years working to bring growth capital and financing solutions to businesses across many industries, especially e-commerce, retail, and professional services industries like doctors’ offices, law firms, and accounting firms.

Harlyn Croland, Head of Business Operations & Strategy, Betterment at Work

Harlyn Croland is the Head of Business Operations and strategy at Betterment at Work, where she builds sustainable processes and brings cross-functional strategy to life. Harlyn has worked at Betterment for 7 years and built out the 401(k) compliance and operations teams that support 401(k) plan sponsors and participants. Prior to joining Betterment, she worked at J.P. Morgan Private Bank, supporting ultra-high net worth families and selecting non-profit organizations.
