Workplace Compliance Trends:
Must-Watch Updates for 2021
Federal, state and local jurisdictions continue to enact laws that reshape the compliance landscape.
Take the California Family Rights Act (CFRA), for example. This recent legislation expands the previous definition of “family member” and allows employees to take leave to care for grandparents, grandchildren, siblings and domestic partners. Additionally, more states and municipalities are easing restrictions for workers with a criminal history when applying for a job. At the federal level, legislation aimed at increasing the minimum wage continues to be introduced.
Is your organization ready to tackle these new trends in HR and stay compliant?
In this webinar, AJ Griffin, Paycom’s Director of Government and Community Affairs, will join us to discuss:
- the most relevant updates for family and medical leave laws
- noteworthy changes for pre-employment screenings

- how to help ensure your organization stays compliant
- and much more
