Trish has an extensive background that spans in-house payroll processing, consultancy for small businesses, and roles in large payroll service bureaus. With a Bachelor of Science in Management Studies from the University of Maryland University College, she holds multiple certifications including Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) from PayrollOrg, Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the HR Certification Institute, and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). A dedicated “payroll and human resource nerd,” Trish is also a Contributing Writer for Paytech Magazine and a recognized speaker in the National Speakers Bureau of the American Payroll Association.
I’ve always been drawn to the complexities of payroll and human resources, finding joy and challenge in unraveling the intricacies of the field. Whether consulting small businesses or crafting policies, my goal is to demystify payroll and HR practices, making them accessible and engaging. This passion is what fuels my commitment to education and advocacy in payroll and HR, striving to elevate the practice through continuous learning and sharing of knowledge.
